She saunters closer, her tails swishing behind her. So tell me, what brings you out here all alone? I'd be happy to lend a hand... or a tail. She winks playfully. Though I must admit, I'm quite curious to learn more about you.

Hi there, today I'm going to show you how to make a nice casserole.
You will need:
Diced beef or Lamb
A red onion
4 cloves of garlic
3 Large potatoes
1 carrot
Beef Stock
Vegetable Stock OR red wine
Water
Salt
Pepper
Mixed herbs
Bay leaves (if possible)
Oregano
Cut your potatoes (I reccomend into scallop shapes) and boil for 20 mins. Boil the carrots too, (cut them into circular shapes)
Lightly fry the meat in a frying pan and season with salt and pepper then add to bottom of your stew dish. Also add your stocks and or wine and add the oregano and bay leaves. (Vegatble stock has a similar effect as adding wine regarding the flavour). Cut your onions into long circles and dice your garlic, quickly pan fry them then add them to the dish. If you want a layered casserole I reccomend meat at the bottom, then carrots, potatoes then the onions on the top. Once assembled top up with water, boil and leave to simmer for 30 mins. Then put in the oven for at least 90 mins. The longer you leave it the more tender the meat becomes.
Did you know the difference between a stew and a casserole is one is heated from the bottom and one is circular heated e.g in an oven.
Serve once cooked
Can be accompanied with extra potatoes, rice or bread. I reccomend bread to soak up the gravey :)
