Anyone who is interested in helping the project has several ways of doing so. First of for the creators.

Costume guide (huge guide)

You can also help by making backgrounds, dialogues (they can also be made inside the game itself) or making edits to the character, and pressing the custom save data generate button, it will make a paragraph that saves your settings, usually it's best to just save it in a .txt.

Dialogue guides

There is a lot everyone can do to help out so don't be shy.

You need to include the hairs... If you load up the .sdt file it only gives you the facial features and such. It'll still retain the default hair.

The hair and cloths are hosted on the server, you just need to load the .sdt file and it will work.

If you see the comments in page one it would seem it doesn't load the hairs on firefox, that's probably your problem.

I'm not using Firefox. I'm using the standalone Adobe Flash Player.

Edit, I see what's wrong.

You should probably mention it only works if you use the version on the site (If you get it directly from the SDT blog it doesn't work)

and that it doesn't work with the standalone Flash Player or Firefox

Also tried it in Chrome and it doesn't work.

Make sure that you run it from the server link, don't download the game.

Yeah, just download the game from the developers website and load the file on your computer.
You might need a program that can run SWF files though, if you don't already.
